Colton Parayko scored the overtime winner and Robert Thomas scored once in a three-point performance as the St. Louis Blues continued their winning ways with a 4-3 victory over the host Calgary Flames on Thursday.

Zack Bolduc and Pavel Buchnevich also scored for the Blues, who have posted a 4-0-1 record since Jim Montgomery was named coach of the club following the firing of Drew Bannister on Nov. 24.

Goaltender Jordan Binnington made 36 saves, 14 in the third period, and Philip Broberg collected a pair of assists for St. Louis, which recovered from blowing a two-goal lead and a single-goal edge.

Jakob Pelletier, Matt Coronato and MacKenzie Weegar scored for the Flames, who have one win in six games (1-3-2). Goalie Dan Vladar stopped 20 shots.

Calgary's six-game home winning streak was snapped.

Looking to build on their momentum from recent success, the Blues opened the scoring when Bolduc converted a one-timer from the slot at 12:49 of the first period for his third goal of the season.

Thomas doubled the lead at 14:49 of the frame with his fourth of the season. Thomas weaved through the defenders to the left face-off circle before ripping a shot home.

Pelletier put the Flames on the board 15 seconds later. Pelletier, Calgary's 2019 first-round draft choice, pounced on a rebound for his first goal of the season, in his second NHL clash of the campaign.

Coronato tied the game with another power-play goal at 5:23 of the second period. Coronato worked to the high slot and lit the lamp with a short-side shot for his seventh goal of the season. Calgary has scored with the man-advantage in eight of its last nine games.

Buchnevich put the Blues ahead again six minutes into the third period by finishing a pretty passing play with a tap-in tally from the doorstep for his seventh of season.

But Weegar again pulled Calgary even 66 seconds later, finding the mark with an open chance from the slot after a strong forecheck for his fourth of the season.
