Raymond Felton scored nine of his 16 points in the fourth quarter and Danilo Gallinari led with 22 as the visiting Denver Nuggets pushed their winning streak to six games with a 95-90 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
Kobe Bryant scored 28 points on 10-of-27 shooting for the Lakers (55-21), who had their nine-game streak come to an end and lost for just the second time since the All-Star break.
Gallinari scored 19 in the first half for Denver (47-29), which shot just 29.5 percent (13-of-44) before the break to go into the locker room down, 47-40.
The Nuggets turned things around in the third quarter, connecting on 13 of 20 shots to draw even at 69-69 heading into the final frame.
The Lakers led, 83-82, after Derek Fisher’s jumper with 4:39 left in the game, but Felton buried a 3-pointer to spark a 9-0 run and put Denver back on top.
Lamar Odom gave Los Angeles a chance when his 3-pointer cut it to 92-90 with 15 seconds remaining but Nene hit a free throw and Kenyon Martin grabbed an offensive rebound and put it back with 11 seconds left to seal the win.
