SEATTLE -- Arizona hasn't had a Pac-12 Player of the Week this season.

That could soon change.

Power forward Ryan Anderson had 22 points and 15 rebounds to continue a monthlong hot streak as the 23rd-ranked Wildcats beat Washington 77-72 on Saturday.

With Arizona leading 75-72 in the final minute, Anderson grabbed two offensive rebounds and was fouled with 16.1 seconds left. He made both and then Washington guard Andrew Andrews misfired on a 3-point attempt at the other end.

Anderson, a senior coming off a career-high 31 points at Washington State, has made 55 of 79 shots from the field in the past eight games.

"Ryan is an all-conference player. He is certainly one of the top five players, production-wise," Arizona coach Sean Miller said.

"You always want your guys to have live legs and have a will to win in the month of February. There's a lot that goes into that to make your team continue to grow."

Guard Gabe York added 18 points for Arizona (19-5, 7-4 Pac-12), which swept the Washington road trip.

Anderson had 53 points and 27 rebounds on the trip, posting his 11th and 12th double-doubles of the season.

Guard Andrew Andrews scored 20 points to pace five double-digit scorers for the Huskies (15-8, 7-4).

Washington forward Marquese Chriss added 18 points and a team-high seven rebounds. Guard Dejounte Murray, who had a career-best 34 points earlier this week against Arizona State, was held to 11 points on 4-of-14 shooting from the floor.

"This isn't a situation where we went in and blasted our team," Washington coach Lorenzo Romar said. "I'm proud of the way our team competed. But we just have to find a way to box out."

It was a back-and-forth game that matched Washington's youthful athleticism against Arizona's mature inside strength.

The Huskies had 13 steals and forced 20 Wildcats turnovers, leading to 31 points, including eight dunks. Arizona countered with a 43-29 edge on the glass, including a 17-8 advantage on the offensive boards. Anderson had eight offensive rebounds.

"Our guys have been waiting for this for a long, long time," Romar said of the program's first sellout since February 2012. "And I feel like we let (the crowd) down a little bit.

"I don't think we have to look further than the offensive rebounding column. Ryan Anderson, he just took the game over on the backboards, and that was the difference in the game. ... He had his way with us."

York gave Arizona a 70-68 lead with a 3-pointer with 2:44 left, but Washington forward Malik Dime tied the score with two free throws.

Anderson was fouled on a drive to the basket with 1:43 to go and made both free throws for a 72-70 advantage.

Arizona center Kaleb Tarczewski blocked a shot at the rim on the ensuing possession, and guard Kadeem Allen put the Wildcats up 75-70 with a 3-pointer at the end of the shot clock.

Andrews, who entered in a shooting slump -- 12 of 47 in his past four games -- was just 5 of 14 from the field.

Washington scored 11 points off six Arizona turnovers early in the second half to turn a 44-38 halftime deficit into a 51-46 lead. Neither team could gain much separation after that in a game that featured 11 lead changes.

Arizona guard Allonzo Trier, the team's second leading scorer at 14.8 points per game, returned to the court after missing seven games with a broken right hand. The freshman from Seattle, playing with a soft brace on his hand/wrist, scored seven points in 16 minutes before fouling out with 6:10 left.

"He wasn't what he's going to be or what he was -- I mean, he hasn't done anything in four weeks -- but just his willingness to play helped give us quality depth," Miller said.

"When you start to look at him playing more and playing like he's capable, both on offense and defense, I think it's a sign of very, very good things to come."

NOTES: Arizona PG Kadeem Allen, who came off the bench Thursday night at Washington State because of illness, was back in the starting lineup. ... Washington has lost six consecutive games to the Wildcats. ... Washington freshman G Dejounte Murray and senior G Andrew Andrews are already the ninth duo in school history to each have 100-plus assists. ... Arizona will play five of its last seven Pac-12 games at home, starting next week with games against UCLA and USC. The Wildcats lost on the road to each of those teams. ... Washington plays at Utah on Wednesday.
