Georgia 91, LSU 78: Nemanja Djurisic scored 17 points in a reserve role to lead four Georgia players in double figures as the host Bulldogs knocked off the Tigers in SEC play.

Marcus Thornton collected 15 points and 10 rebounds for Georgia (11-10, 5-4 SEC), which snapped a three-game skid. Charles Mann added 16 points and Brandon Morris scored 11 as the Bulldogs shot 60 percent from the field.

Andre Stringer and Jordan Mickey each scored 19 points to lead LSU (14-7, 5-4), which dropped to 2-4 on the road. Jarell Martin contributed 15 points, but star Johnny O'Bryant III — the reigning SEC Player of the Week — was in foul trouble all night and managed only nine points on 4-of-11 shooting.

The Bulldogs got off to a hot start and never trailed, breaking it open with an 11-0 run to push the margin to 12 and taking a 43-30 advantage into halftime. Georgia didn't let up at the offensive end after the break, but LSU heated up and was able to close the gap to 48-45 on Martin's 3-pointer less than five minutes into the second half.

O'Bryant picked up his fourth foul with 14:24 left and Georgia quickly restored the double-digit advantage. Morris converted a three-point play and Djurisic hit from beyond the arc during a 13-6 burst, and the Bulldogs might have put away earlier if not for their struggles at the foul line, as they were 19-of-30 in the second half.

GAME NOTEBOOK: O'Bryant entered the game averaging 21.6 points and 8.2 rebounds in his previous five games, including back-to-back contests with 20-plus points. … Georgia held a 37-30 edge on the boards and has not been outrebounded in any of its nine conference games. … LSU PG Anthony Hickey added to his SEC-best assist-to-turnover ratio, dishing out four assists without committing a turnover.
