Junior swingman Jeremy Green’s 23 points carried Stanford to an 83-75 victory over visiting Arizona State on Saturday.
Junior Josh Owens added 16 points for Stanford (12-10, 5-6 Pac-10), which had lost five of its previous six games. Jarrett Mann and Aaron Bright had 14 and 10, respectively.
Senior Jamelle McMillan scored a team-high 17 points for Arizona State (9-14, 1-10 Pac-10), which lost its seventh straight.
Stanford, which entered the game averaging 63.8 points, had no problem getting open looks against the Sun Devils' 2-3 zone and shot 50 percent. The Cardinals were 10 for 18 from 3-point range.
