Anthony Brown had career-highs with 21 points and eight rebounds, and Stanford ended its four-game losing streak Saturday with a 70-56 victory over visiting Oregon State.
Josh Owens added 14 points and eight rebounds for Stanford (11-9, 4-5 Pac-10), which scored more than 60 points for the first time in eight games. The Cardinal broke out of a lengthy offensive slump when they shot 50 percent against the Beavers.
Ahmad Starks had 17 points off the bench to pace the Beavers (8-12, 3-6), who trailed 31-30 at halftime. Lathen Wallace and Calvin Haynes each scored nine, but leading scorer Jared Cunningham was held to one point on four shots.
Stanford used an 18-3 run in the second half to take control, and the Cardinal limited Oregon State to 23.5 percent shooting after halftime.
Dwight Powell had nine points and five rebounds for Stanford.
The Beavers have lost six of their last seven.
