Darius Morris scored 18 points and dished out five assists as Michigan cruised to a 69-51 home win Saturday over Oakland.
Oakland (6-6), which lost to Michigan State 77-76 on Dec. 11, gave Michigan (9-2) fits through the first eight minutes, but a 5-0 Wolverines' run broke a 9-9 tie and Michigan never looked back.
Zack Novak added 13 points and 12 rebounds for Michigan, and Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 10. Michigan shot 25 of 56 (44.6 percent) and committed 12 turnovers.
Oakland got 23 points from Reggie Hamilton and 11 from Keith Benson. But the Golden Grizzlies hit just 6 of 29 from 3-point range.
