John Flowers led the way with 12 points and 10 rebounds and West Virginia pulled away in the second half en route to an 82-49 victory over Robert Morris on Tuesday.
Darryl Bryant added 12 points and six assists and Deniz Kilicli chipped in 14 points off the bench for the Mountaineers (6-2), who bounced back from a loss at Miami over the weekend.
Robert Morris kept it close in the first half, trailing 32-28 at the break, but was no match for the Mountaineers in the second. West Virginia outscored the Colonials 50-21 in the second half and ended up getting all 13 players into the game for at least two minutes.
The Mountaineers, who have only two games remaining before diving into Big East play with St. John’s on December 28, shot 56 percent from the floor on Tuesday and outrebounded Robert Morris 42-21.
Yann Charles and Coron Williams scored 11 points apiece for the Colonials (3-5), who head home to face Youngstown State before going on the road for seven straight games.
