Celtics 108, Knicks 97: Avery Bradley scored 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting and Jared Sullinger had 22 points and nine rebounds as visiting Boston knocked off New York.

Jae Crowder and Marcus Smart added 13 points apiece as the Celtics never trailed while halting a three-game losing streak. Brandon Bass scored 12 points and Boston shot 54.5 percent from the field.

Carmelo Anthony scored 21 points and Jose Calderon added 17 for the Knicks, who had won five of their past seven games. Tim Hardaway Jr. tallied 14 points and Jason Smith contributed 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

The Knicks pulled within 86-82 on Shane Larkin’s basket with 8:12 to play before Boston responded with a 10-2 burst, taking a 12-point lead on Smart’s 17-footer with 4:33 to go. Bradley and Crowder scored consecutive hoops to give the Celtics a 102-89 advantage with 2:16 remaining and New York didn’t get closer than eight points.

Sullinger’s basket gave Boston a 14-2 lead before the game was four minutes old and the Celtics took a 57-44 lead into the break. Boston led by 13 after a three-point play by Bass with 2:09 left in the third quarter before New York cut its deficit to 80-72 entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Sullinger also had a game-high six assists. … Anthony was 9-of-23 from the field. … Celtics F Tayshaun Prince (hip flexor) missed his second straight game.
