Cavaliers 99, Hawks 83: Kyrie Irving scored 33 points and Tristan Thompson and Tyler Zeller notched double-doubles as Cleveland extended visiting Atlanta's season-worst losing streak to four games.
Thompson had 11 points and 14 rebounds and Zeller added 11 points and 12 boards for the Cavaliers, who snapped a two-game skid by beating Atlanta for just the second time in the last 10 meetings.
Josh Smith collected 17 points, eight rebounds and six blocks for the Hawks, who have dropped five of six. Jeff Teague added 15 points and eight assists and Al Horford chipped in 14 points.
The lead changed hands eight times in the first quarter, but the Cavaliers never trailed after that. Hot long-range shooting helped Cleveland maintain the advantage, as Irving and Alonzo Gee each hit five 3-pointers.
Atlanta managed just one field goal in the first 5:53 of the second quarter, as Cleveland stretched its lead to 39-30 and took a 49-40 advantage into halftime.
