Chris Johnson went 3-for-3 with an RBI and Jeff Keppinger also collected three hits and drove in a run for Houston, which has won four in a row.

Rodriguez (9-11) recorded his third straight win and sixth in seven starts, scattering five hits and one walk. The left-hander, who improved to 4-0 lifetime against Milwaukee at home, struck out nine.

Sanchez opened the scoring in the bottom of the first with an RBI single and Jason Michaels lifted a sacrifice fly three batters later to make it 2-0.

The Astros plated three runs in the second to take a comfortable lead as Johnson began the rally with a leadoff single, extending his hitting streak to 14 games - the longest by a Houston rookie since Julio Lugo's 14-game streak in 2000.

Johnson drove in Houston's final run in the fifth with a double.

Dave Bush (5-9) lasted five innings for Milwaukee, surrendering six runs and 10 hits.

Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder had two hits apiece for the Brewers, who have lost four in a row and fell to 28-52 at Minute Maid Park.
