Nikola Vucevic recorded his 20th double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Southern Cal completed its late surge up the Pac-10 standings with a 62-60 victory at Washington on Saturday.

Alex Stepheson had 14 rebounds and 11 points, and Jio Fontan scored 20 for Southern Cal (18-13, 10-8 Pac-10), which won five of its last six games to secure the No. 4 seed in the Pac-10 Tournament.

The Trojans will play No. 5 California in the quarterfinals Thursday.

Isaiah Thomas scored 16 points and Venoy Overton added 15 for Washington (20-10, 11-7), which trailed 36-26 at halftime. Scott Suggs scored 14 points and Matthew Bryan-Amaning added 11.

Washington, the third seed, will play No. 6 Washington State on Thursday.

Donte Smith’s two free throws gave the Trojans a six-point lead with 14 seconds left before Washington scored two quick baskets to finish the scoring.

The Huskies, who were No. 2 nationally in scoring (84.9 points) entering the game, went 2 for 16 from 3-point range.
