Head coach Mike Krzyzewski moved past Dean Smith into second place on the NCAA's all-time coaching wins list with his 880th victory, as top-ranked Duke cruised to a 108-62 romp at UNC-Greensboro on Wednesday evening.
The Blue Devils (12-0) rolled out to a 15-2 lead in the first four minutes of play and were never truly threatened, stretching the margin to 21 points by halftime and coasting the rest of the way.
Duke was its usual efficient self on offense, shooting 61 percent (39 of 64) from the field, including 11 3-pointers in 24 attempts, while turning the ball over just seven times. Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith led the way with 27 and 26 points, respectively.
Four other Blue Devils joined Singler and Smith scoring in double figures, led by Seth Curry's 15 points. Aaron Brackett paced UNC-Greensboro (0-12) with 14 points.
