Spurs 106, Timberwolves 88: Tony Parker scored 20 points and Gary Neal added 15 as San Antonio stretched its home winning streak against Minnesota to 16 games.
Tim Duncan had 12 points, nine rebounds and a season-high seven blocked shots and Manu Ginobili also scored 12 points for the Spurs, who last lost at home to the Timberwolves on Jan. 14, 2004.
J.J. Barea scored 15 points, Nikola Pekovic added 14 and Luke Ridnour tallied 13 for Minnesota, which has lost three straight and nine of its last 13.
The Timberwolves trailed by seven points with 10 minutes to play before Neal sank back-to-back 3-pointers to start a 17-5 spurt. Stephen Jackson drained a 3-pointer to culminate the run and give the Spurs a 99-80 edge with 5:28 remaining.
Minnesota jumped out to an early 16-7 lead but San Antonio answered with a 13-1 run to take a three-point advantage. The Spurs led by 11 three minutes into the second quarter and were up 55-50 at the break.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Parker has scored 20 or more points in eight of the last 10 games. … Minnesota went 4-of-16 from 3-point range. The Timberwolves entered the contest shooting a league-worst 29.8 percent from behind the arc. … Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was ejected with 7:22 left after drawing two technical fouls.
