Jason Robertson's overtime goal gave the Dallas Stars a 4-3 victory over the visiting Winnipeg Jets on Friday.
At 3:10 of the extra frame, Robertson converted his own rebound after his initial shot was blocked by Winnipeg defenseman Josh Morrissey.
The red-hot Robertson has 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists) over his past 18 games.
Jamie Benn had a goal and an assist for the Stars, while Denis Gurianov contributed two assists. Jacob Peterson and Tyler Seguin scored the hosts' other goals.
Dallas has won both games since the All-Star break and seven of the past nine overall. The Stars improved to 8-2 in games decided beyond regulation time this season.
Mark Scheifele had a goal and an assist for the Jets, including the late equalizer that forced overtime. With 32 seconds remaining in regulation, the Stars held a 3-2 lead before Scheifele's blast of a point shot beat a screened Jake Oettinger.
Though Scheifele's goal salvaged a point for Winnipeg in the overtime loss, the Jets dropped to 2-5-3 over their past 10 games.
Pierre-Luc Dubois and Jansen Harkins scored the Jets' other goals.
Oettinger (34 shots faced) and Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck (35) each made 31 saves. Oettinger is 4-1-0 over his past five starts.
With the game tied in the third period, Benn sent a pass from behind the net to Gurianov and then positioned himself in front of Hellebuyck. Gurianov passed the puck right back to Benn, who converted for his 12th goal of the season at 12:47.
After a scoreless first period, Dubois put Winnipeg ahead just 50 seconds into the second frame.
The Stars took the lead on a pair of rapid-fire goals from Peterson and Seguin midway through the period. After Peterson equalized at the 10:46 mark, it took just 54 seconds for Dallas to strike again, as Seguin finished off a smooth passing sequence for his 15th goal of the season.
Winnipeg used some nice playmaking of its own to even the score. At 16:51 of the second period, a series of passes resulted in a wide-open Harkins getting a clear look in the slot. Harkins capitalized for the tally, ending his six-game points drought.
