Bryan Little's unassisted third-period goal was the game-winner as the host Winnipeg Jets snapped the Boston Bruins' point streak at 15 games with a 2-1 victory on Tuesday.

Ondrej Pavelec turned aside a season-high 39 shots as the Jets won their third straight game and snapped the Bruins’ winning streak at four.

Andrew Ladd also scored as Winnipeg avenged a 4-2 loss in Boston on Nov. 26 and handed the Bruins their first regulation loss since Oct. 29. Boston is 14-1-1 in that span.

Little's goal came 94 seconds after Boston tied it 1-1 when Daniel Paille threw a shot at the net that ricocheted off Shawn Thornton and past Pavelec.

With the teams playing 4-on-4, Little won a faceoff in his own end and skated the length of the ice before snapping a shot between the pads of Tuukka Rask at 4:50 of the third period for his sixth goal in eight games.

Ladd staked the Jets to a 1-0 lead with 1:39 to play in the first. Catching Boston in a line change, he burst up the left wing and whistled a shot over the right shoulder of Tuukka Rask. Pavelec was credited with an assist on the goal.

The Bruins played without leading goal scorer Tyler Seguin, who was benched for missing a team breakfast Tuesday morning.
