Jalen Hill scored eight of his 18 points in overtime to lift visiting Oklahoma to a 68-63 win over Texas Tech on Saturday in Lubbock, Texas.

The win was the Sooners' first at Texas Tech since 2015.

Hill scored all eight of those points in the final 1:35, first cutting between a pair of defenders for a layup to put the Sooners ahead, then taking a floor-length pass from Milos Uzan for a dunk after Uzan's steal to start giving Oklahoma separation.

Uzan scored a season-high 18 for the Sooners (10-5, 1-2 Big 12).

Hill's overtime performance overshadowed the season-high 23-point performance of the Red Raiders' De'Vion Harmon, who was playing against his former team for the first time since transferring to Oregon before last season.

Harmon scored 19 of his points in the second half.

Kevin Obanor added 15 points for Texas Tech (10-5, 0-3).

Texas Tech coach Mark Adams talked on Friday about the need to find the Sooners' shooters on the perimeter.

The Red Raiders didn't do that in a 90-second span early in the second half and it cost them.

With the game tied, the Sooners hit 3-pointers on back-to-back-to-back possessions to jump ahead by nine at 36-27.

To that point, Oklahoma hadn't led by more than four.

When the Sooners' Tanner Groves fouled out with about five minutes left, the Red Raiders had already begun making a push with a 7-0 run. Without Groves on the floor, though, Texas Tech attacked the basket more aggressively and turned up the heat on the defensive end.

The Red Raiders forced turnovers on three consecutive possessions and each time took advantage with a basket at the rim on the other end to take the lead.

Moments after Sherfield was called for traveling, Jaylon Tyson found Obanor under the basket for a layup to give Texas Tech its first lead of the second half with 23 seconds left.

But Uzan hit a pair of free throws to tie it, forcing overtime.

The Red Raiders were without a pair of starters -- guard Pop Isaacs and forward Daniel Batcho.
