LaMarcus Aldridge poured in 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and DeMar DeRozan added 28 points as the San Antonio Spurs roared back from a ragged first half to beat the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 121-114 on Sunday.
The Spurs trailed the entire first half but took the lead in the third quarter and led by four points heading to the fourth.
San Antonio opened the fourth quarter with a 10-1 run to go up 97-84, and then weathered a late run that brought Milwaukee to within nine points before baskets by DeRozan and Patty Mills salted away the game.
The win was the fifth straight for the Spurs overall and their eighth in a row at home.
Milwaukee, which was playing the second game of a home-road back-to-back, had a two-game winning streak snapped. Despite the loss, the Bucks retain the NBA's best record at 50-17.
Marco Belinelli and Mills hit for 16 points each for the Spurs, while Bryn Forbes added 12.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe scored 21 points, Khris Middleton tallied 15, Pat Connaughton hit for 14 points, Brook Lopez added 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Nikola Mirotic contributed 10 points.
Milwaukee dominated the first half, leading by as many as 15 points in the first quarter, and by 11 after a 3-pointer by Bledsoe with 2:01 to play in the second quarter. The Spurs scored the final five points of the half to pull within 60-54 at intermission.
Antetokounmpo and Bledsoe led the Bucks with 14 points each in the first half, and Antetokounmpo added nine rebounds.
Aldridge paced San Antonio with 14 points by halftime, while DeRozan added 12.
The Spurs tied the game at 64 on a running layup by Forbes with 9:14 to play in the third quarter, and then scored the next seven points to lead 71-64. Milwaukee rallied to take the lead again, as a 3-pointer by Mirotic capped a 10-2 run that put the Bucks up 74-73.
The Bucks still led 81-79 before San Antonio finished the quarter by scoring eight of the final 10 points to pull ahead 87-83 heading into the fourth quarter.
