MILWAUKEE -- Kevin Durant scored 33 points and Klay Thompson finished with 29 as the Golden State Warriors extended their winning streak to seven games by holding off the Milwaukee Bucks for a 124-121 victory Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Durant and Thompson combined to shoot 17-for-38 from the floor as the Warriors connected at a 44.2 percent clip and made 14 of 38 3-point attempts.
Golden State also got 20 from Steph Curry and 10 each from Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.
The Bucks shot 52.3 percent for the game and were 10-for-20 from beyond the arc. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 30 points and Jabari Parker added 28.
Milwaukee closed the first quarter on a 21-5 run to take a 37-28 lead but Durant hit four 3-pointers -- on four attempts -- in the second as the Warriors outscored the Bucks, 41-29, and led, 69-66, at intermission, despite 60 percent shooting from the Bucks.
Parker found Tony Snell for a corner 3 to make it 120-117 game with 3:06 left. Curry answered with a layup but Parker converted a three-point play on the other end to get the Bucks within a possession.
Antetokounmpo missed a chance to tie the game when, after a steal, went down court but shanked a dunk attempt. Mirza Teletovic came up short on a 3-point attempt that would have put Milwaukee in front.
Antetokounmpo blocked Green with a minute to play but he, too, came up empty on a drive through the lane with 29 seconds left.
Milwaukee had one last chance, but Green picked off Tony Snell's inbounds pass and Antetokounmpo was called for his fifth foul, sending Thompson to the line where he hit a pair to give the Warriors a four-point cushion with eight seconds remaining.
