Pacers 91, Bulls 79: Luis Scola scored a season-high 19 points and Paul George recorded a triple-double as Indiana pulled away from visiting Chicago in the second half for its fifth win in the last six games.
Lance Stephenson scored 15 and George collected 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for Indiana, which used a 19-0 run in the third quarter to take control. Roy Hibbert contributed 12 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks while George Hill and David West scored 10 apiece for the Pacers.
Jimmy Butler and D.J. Augustin each registered 17 points to lead the way for the Bulls, who shot 36.4 percent from the field. Joakim Noah recorded 12 points and 13 rebounds while Carlos Boozer scored 10 for Chicago, which was beaten on the boards 51-36.
Scola scored 12 points in the second quarter to help Indiana build a seven-point lead before the Bulls recorded eight of the last 10 to pull within 44-43 at the half. George had a jumper and a dunk to ignite the big third-quarter run and Stephenson scored nine as Indiana turned a one-point deficit into a 63-45 lead.
Stephenson collected 13 points while the Pacers were 12-of-19 from the field in the third period and took a 75-62 lead into the final 12 minutes. Chicago pulled within eight points twice in the fourth before Scola scored five straight for an 84-71 lead and the Pacers went on to improve their league-best home record to 32-4.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Pacers announced before the game that C Andrew Bynum is still suffering from soreness and swelling in his right knee and will be out indefinitely, after playing only two games since being signed as a free agent. … Chicago G Mike Dunleavy had nine points and a career-high five blocks. … Indiana has won two of three meetings this season and will visit Chicago on Monday.
