Thunder 103, 76ers 91: Kevin Durant returned from a one-game absence to record his fifth career triple-double as visiting Oklahoma City won its seventh straight game.
After sitting out Friday night's game in Boston with a sore shoulder, Durant erupted for 32 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists as the Thunder swept a three-game road trip. Serge Ibaka added 25 points, 11 rebounds and five blocked shots while Nick Collison had 12 points in a reserve role.
James Anderson's 19 points paced the 76ers, who have dropped nine of 11. Evan Turner scored 15 points, Spencer Hawes added 14 and Thaddeus Young collected 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals.
Ibaka had an immediate impact on both ends of the floor — racking up 12 points and blocking three shots — as the Thunder and 76ers finished the first quarter tied at 26. The second quarter belonged to Durant, as he poured in 11 points — highlighted by a long 3-pointer off his own rebound with 5:16 remaining — to send Oklahoma City into the break with a 53-44 lead.
The Thunder pushed the advantage to 13 on Durant's jumper with 6:39 left in the third quarter, then responded to a 9-0 Philadelphia spurt with five straight made field goals to enter the fourth ahead 83-71. The lead never shrunk lower than eight the rest of the way, as Durant secured the triple-double with his 10th assist on Collison's 18-footer with 4:54 remaining while recording his 10th consecutive 30-point outing.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Durant and Ibaka combined to shoot 24-of-33 from the field; the rest of the starting lineup went just 5-for-20. ... Oklahoma City improved to 7-0 on the road against the Eastern Conference. ... The teams shot a combined 8-of-48 from beyond the arc.
