Warriors 112, Wizards 96: Klay Thompson knocked down six 3-pointers en route to 26 points and Golden State used a big third quarter to knock off host Washington and extend its winning streak to nine straight.

David Lee collected 21 points and 11 rebounds while Andrew Bogut added 15 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks for the Warriors, who are enjoying their longest winning streak since 1975. Stephen Curry chipped in 14 points and 10 assists while Harrison Barnes scored 13 off the bench for Golden State.

John Wall recorded 14 points and 10 assists as the Wizards dropped their third straight. Nene scored 14 points off the bench and Martell Webster had 11 points in a reserve role for Washington, which was outscored 34-15 in the decisive third.

The game was tied at 58 heading into the half but the Warriors came out on fire after the break, scoring the first 13 points to take the lead. Curry hit a 3-pointer and Lee scored on consecutive possessions as Golden State expanded the run to 30-5 for a 25-point edge with just under three minutes left in the period.

The Wizards woke up and pulled within 92-73 at the end of the third and scored the first eight points of the fourth to trim the deficit to 11 points with 9:23 left. The Warriors would not let it drop to single digits as Thompson buried a 3-pointer to cap a 7-0 burst and help Golden State coast to the finish.

Washington scored the final seven points of the first quarter to grab a 36-28 lead and stretched the advantage to 10 points early in the second. The Warriors battled back to knot it at 50 and took a one-point lead on Thompson’s 3-pointer with 1:23 left in the half before settling for a tie at the break.

Lee scored 12 points and Golden State shot 63.6 percent from the field during the third quarter. Curry highlighted the run with an alley-oop off the backboard to Bogut as the Warriors improved to 5-0 on their seven-game trip and extended their road winning streak to six straight.
