Raptors 103, Grizzlies 87: Rudy Gay collected 23 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists in his return to Memphis as the Raptors picked up a solid road win.
Gay, who played six-plus seasons for the Grizzlies before being traded to Toronto last season, was 8-for-18 from the floor and hit 4-of-6 from 3-point range in his first game in Memphis as a visiting player. Kyle Lowry added 21 points and DeMar DeRozan scored 18 for the Raptors, who won for just the second time in the last 10 meetings.
Mike Conley scored 29 points and Marc Gasol had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Memphis, which has lost two straight. Zach Randolph collected 10 points and 10 rebounds and Tony Allen scored 10 for the Grizzlies.
Toronto led by as many as 14 in the first half and took a 55-44 advantage into the locker room. The Grizzlies pulled even at 70 on Conley's layup with 3:32 left in the third but couldn't sustain the momentum.
The Raptors closed the quarter on an 8-1 run and scored the first four points of the final stanza to open it back up. Toronto made 11 straight free throws in the fourth quarter to seal it.
