Nuggets 95, Mavericks 94: Corey Brewer scored 23 points and Andre Miller added 22 as Denver extended its franchise-record home-winning streak to 19 games with a last-second victory.
Andre Iguodala scored the go-ahead basket with 2.8 seconds left and Kenneth Faried had 12 points and 19 rebounds for the Nuggets, who prevailed despite losing second-leading scorer Danilo Gallinari to what appeared to be a serious knee injury in the second quarter.
Brandan Wright scored 16 points and Dirk Nowitzki and Chris Kaman had 13 apiece for the Mavericks, who fell three games back of the eighth-place Los Angeles Lakers with seven games to play.
Dallas used a late 6-0 burst in the third to go ahead by nine points and take a 77-70 lead into the final 12 minutes. The Mavericks still led by five midway through the quarter but Denver got within a point on Miller's basket with 1:48 to play.
Brewer came up with two huge plays to lead to the winning basket. He stole the ball from Nowitzki with 19 seconds to go and flew in to grab the rebound after Faried missed two free throws with 10 seconds left, leading to Iguodala's drive down the lane.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Gallinari is scheduled to undergo an MRI exam Friday but Yahoo! Sports, citing league sources, reported that the team fears he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Gallinari's left knee bent inward as he drove to the basket and he tumbled to the court writhing in pain. ... Mavericks F Elton Brand sat out the game due to a calf issue and is listed as day-to-day. ... The Nuggets improved to a league-best 34-3 at home despite leading scorer Ty Lawson (plantar fascia tear) sitting out for the sixth time in seven games.
