Nuggets 114, Thunder 104: Ty Lawson scored 25 points and visiting Denver dispatched of Oklahoma City to set a franchise record with its 13th consecutive victory.

Andre Miller scored 20 points, Kenneth Faried had 13 points and 15 rebounds and Danilo Gallinari added 13 points for the Nuggets, who previously won 12 straight games during the 1981-82 campaign.

Kevin Durant scored 34 points and Russell Westbrook added 25 for the Thunder, who lost for just the third time in 14 games. Oklahoma City dropped 1 1/2 games behind the first-place San Antonio Spurs in the battle for the top spot in the Western Conference.

Oklahoma City led 66-65 at halftime before Denver began the second half with an 11-2 run to take an eight-point lead. The Nuggets led 89-82 entering the fourth and got the lead back up to 11 on Miller’s basket early in the final stanza.

The Thunder cut their deficit to 102-97 on a basket by Westbrook with 4:07 to go. Miller hit back-to-back baskets to make it a 10-point game with 1:29 to play and then hit five free throws to help the Nuggets protect the lead and drop Oklahoma City’s home mark to 30-5.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Denver won the regular-season series 3-1. … Oklahoma City F Serge Ibaka suffered a cut above his right eye after taking an inadvertent elbow from teammate Reggie Jackson with 5:16 to play, while Nuggets swingman Wilson Chandler left with a shoulder injury. … Denver had a 72-50 edge in points in the paint.
