Mavericks 103, Wizards 94: Vince Carter scored a game-high 23 points in his second start of the season and Shawn Marion contributed 11 and 14 rebounds as visiting Dallas snapped a season-worst six-game losing streak.
Darren Collison added 15 points and eight assists and O.J. Mayo also had 15 as six players scored in double figures for the Mavericks, who have won six straight and 17 of 22 against Washington. Chris Kaman chipped in 12 points and Dirk Nowitzki had a season-high 11 in 17 minutes off the bench in his fifth game since returning from knee surgery.
Rookie Bradley Beal scored 22 points and Emeka Okafor collected 14 and 11 rebounds. Martell Webster added 14 points for the Wizards, who have lost 10 of 11 and own the worst record in the NBA at 4-25.
Washington led by as many as 14 early in the second quarter, but Dallas was able to chip the margin down to 52-48 by halftime and took control in the third quarter.
Marion scored six points during a 9-0 run that gave Dallas a 61-58 lead, and the Mavericks never trailed again.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Mavericks ended a six-game road losing streak dating to Dec. 8 and improved to 5-13 away from home. … Okafor has four double-doubles this season, and all of them have come in the past five games. … Wizards G Jordan Crawford returned to the lineup after missing Saturday's game with an ankle injury. He scored nine points in 24 minutes off the bench.
