Spurs 129, Mavericks 91: Danny Green scored a game-high 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting and Tony Parker added 18 as San Antonio spoiled Dirk Nowitzki's season debut and extended its home winning streak to six games.

Kawhi Leonard contributed 17 points, Tim Duncan chipped in 15 and Green was 7-of-8 from beyond the arc as the Spurs made 20 of 30 3-point attempts.

Nowitzki, who underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in October, entered the game with 6:28 remaining in the first quarter and converted a dunk with 23.9 seconds remaining for his first points of the season. The star forward finished with eight points and six rebounds in 20 minutes.

The Spurs led by 12 at the half before pouring it on in the third quarter. San Antonio made six 3-pointers - two apiece by Parker, Green and Stephen Jackson - during a 25-2 run that opened a 93-59 lead with 2:42 left.

Patty Mills followed his 3-pointer with a jumper with three minutes to play in the fourth to increase the advantage to a game high 46 points. Dallas scored the final seven points to avoid losing by 40.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Mavericks G Darren Collison was back after leaving Friday's loss with an illness and scored a team-high 15 points. ... F Elton Brand also returned for Dallas after missing two games with a strained groin but had just two points in 14 minutes off the bench. ... The Mavericks have lost six of seven overall and 12 of their last 18 visits to San Antonio.
