76ERS 92, CELTICS 83: Andre Iguodala hit the go-ahead shot with 1:22 remaining as host Philadelphia evened its Eastern Conference second-round series with Boston at two games apiece.
Iguodala, who had been quiet offensively entering the final quarter, rattled off five straight points - including the pivotal 17-footer and a dagger 3-pointer on the Sixers' next possession - as Philadelphia overcame a sluggish first half to turn the series into a best-of-3.
Iguodala and Evan Turner led the way with 16 points apiece for Philadelphia, while Lou Williams added 15 points and eight rebounds in a reserve role.
Paul Pierce paced the Celtics with 24 points while Rajon Rondo added 15 points and 15 assists and Brandon Bass also scored 15.
The Celtics host Game 5 on Monday night.
The Sixers went into the break down by 15 after managing a paltry 31 points on 23 percent shooting. Philadelphia shook off its offensive struggles in the third quarter, putting together an early 12-1 run to close to within seven before a Williams three-point play made it 58-55 Celtics with 2:47 remaining in the frame.
Pierce kept the 76ers at bay with a late 3 as Boston went into the fourth up 63-59.
The teams exchanged leads throughout the final quarter, with a Rondo 16-footer with 2:48 left giving Boston its last advantage at 81-79. The Celtics managed just one field goal the rest of the way.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Philadelphia dominated the boards 52-38. That included 17 offensive rebounds for the Sixers, led by Thaddeus Young and Lavoy Allen with five apiece. ... Iguodala connected on all three of his 3-point attempts. ... The Celtics scored just 12 bench points. Their reserves combined to shoot 4 for 16.
