Tony Parker scored 19 points and Richard Jefferson added 18 as the San Antonio Spurs continued their dominance of the host Los Angeles Clippers with a 97-88 victory Monday night.
The Spurs have won 17 consecutive games and 25 of 26 against the Clippers. They have won nine in a row at Staples Center.
Eric Gordon had 23 points and 11 assists and Chris Kaman added 18 and eight rebounds for the Clippers, who were without injured point guards Baron Davis and Randy Foye and fell to 0-4.
In their first meeting, Clippers standout rookie Blake Griffin outplayed All-Star Tim Duncan. Griffin had 17 points and eight rebounds to 14 and seven for Duncan.
Brazilian Tiago Splitter, drafted by the Spurs in 2007, made his NBA debut, scoring two points.
