Dirk Nowitzki scored a game-high 25 points and Jason Terry added 23 off the bench as the Dallas Mavericks won their ninth in a row with a 105-103 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.
The Mavericks used a late 15-4 charge in the final 5 1/2 minutes of the fourth quarter to pull this one out.
With the win, Dallas improved to 16-4 to mark its best start since a 17-1 beginning in 2002-03.
Dallas swept the season series with Sacramento last year and has now won seven straight in the series and 15 of 17.
Caron Butler had 11 points and Tyson Chandler added 10 in the winning effort.
Tyreke Evans had 25 points and eight assists for Sacramento, which dropped its seventh straight.
