Ramon Sessions’ drive with 18 seconds left put Cleveland ahead and Samardo Samuels came up with two big defensive stops late for the Cavaliers in a 97-93 road victory over the Sacramento Kings in a battle between the league’s two worst teams on Wednesday.
Samuels took a charge on Sacramento’s DeMarcus Cousins with the game tied at 93-93. After Sessions’ driving basket, Samuels defended Cousins’ look at the rim in the final seconds when the Kings rookie was upset he didn’t get a foul call.

J.J. Hickson added 17 points - including 15 after halftime - and Luke Harangody had 15 points off the bench as Cleveland scored 32 points in the paint in the second half.
Marcus Thornton had 23 points, Samuel Dalembert had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Cousins had 11 points and 16 rebounds for the Kings, who lost for the seventh time in their last eight games.
