Al Jefferson scored 27 points and Deron Williams added 22 and 14 assists to lead the Utah Jazz to a 125-108 home victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
Paul Millsap scored 21 points and C.J. Miles added 19 for the Jazz, who have won two straight since an 0-2 start.
Utah started at a blistering pace, putting 41 points on the board in the first 12 minutes. Williams scored 14 points and Jefferson added eight to give Utah a 41-22 lead.
The Raptors trailed, 66-47, at halftime but came alive after the break. Andrea Bargnani scored 12 points during a 27-9 run that pulled Toronto within 81-80 with 2:16 left in the third quarter.
But Jefferson completed a three-point play and Williams scored five points before the end of the period to give the Jazz a 91-84 edge heading into the fourth quarter.
Utah opened the final period with a 13-4 spurt to rebuild a comfortable advantage.
Bargnani had 26 points and nine boards and Sonny Weems scored 23 points off the bench for Toronto.
