Baron Davis hit a big 3-pointer with 10.6 seconds left in his debut with Cleveland as the Cavaliers stunned the New York Knicks 119-115 at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

The Cavs (12-49) have won 11 straight over the Knicks, but none were this thrilling, as they offset huge games from Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony to collect just their fourth road victory.

Stoudemire equaled his season high with 41 points and Anthony had 29, the most of his brief career with the Knicks (31-29). But New York squandered a 12-point lead in the final eight minutes to fall to 0-3 against the league’s worst team.

The Knicks had a chance to tie in the final seconds, but Anthony was whistled for a charge on Samardo Samuels – the second time in the final 90 seconds Samuels drew a charge on the ex-Nugget.

Davis, playing his first game since the Cavs acquired him from the Los Angeles Clippers in a deadline deal, scored 18 despite shooting just 6-of-15, but his late 3-pointer gave the Cavs a 116-112 lead.

J.J. Hickson had 23 points for the Cavs and Luke Harangody, who wasn’t supposed to play because of a hip pointer, added 18 off the bench.
