Kobe Bryant had 33 points and 10 rebounds and Pau Gasol scored 20 points as the Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a 113-96 victory over the host New York Knicks on Friday.

Bryant made 12 of 17 shots and hit four 3-point baskets while topping 30 points for the fifth time in eight games in helping Los Angeles (38-16) improve to 4-0 on its seven-game road trip.

Amar'e Stoudemire had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Raymond Felton added 20 points for New York (26-26).

Bryant scored 19 first-quarter points but Los Angeles led by just two points when the period concluded. Gasol started and finished a 24-10 second-quarter run with 3-point plays as the Lakers took a 54-41 lead with under three minutes left in the half.

Los Angeles stretched the lead to 18 in the third quarter before the Knicks used a 10-1 run to get within 71-62. The Lakers then scored six straight points, five by Bryant, and pulled away with their largest lead being 22 points.

Lamar Odom had 14 points, Andrew Bynum had 12 points and nine rebounds and Shannon Brown added 12 points for the Lakers.

Danilo Gallinari scored 14 points and Wilson Chandler added 13 points for the Knicks, who have lost 11 of 15 games.
