Jose Ramirez and Wilson Ramos each belted a two-run homer to power the host Cleveland Indians to a 9-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday.

Amed Rosario, who had four hits, joined Ramirez in ripping an RBI triple and scoring twice to pace the Indians to their third win in four games.

Bradley Zimmer crushed a 471-foot homer to lead off the seventh inning for Cleveland, which used five pitchers to subdue Cincinnati in a contest that served as a makeup of a rainout on May 9. Justin Garza (2-0) was credited with the win after allowing one run on one hit in two innings.

Tucker Barnhart had an RBI double and Joey Votto added an RBI single for the Reds, who were denied in their bid to record their third six-game winning streak of the season. They had won six straight games from April 3-9 and again from June 11-16.

The teams traded runs in the first inning before the Indians took hold of the contest in the second.

Zimmer was hit by a pitch to lead off the second inning before Ramos deposited an 0-2 fastball from Luis Castillo (6-11) over the wall in right field to give Cleveland a 3-1 lead. The homer was Ramos' eighth of the season and second in as many days.

The Indians doubled their advantage in the third inning. Ramirez ripped an RBI triple to score Rosario before scoring on Zimmer's two-out groundout.

Rosario's triple plated Myles Straw in the fourth inning before Ramirez crushed a 1-1 fastball from Castillo to right field, pushing Cleveland's lead to 8-1. Ramirez's team-leading 25th homer was his third in his past seven games.

Nick Castellanos had a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning for the Reds. Cleveland responded in the seventh as Zimmer sent a first-pitch cutter from Justin Wilson over the wall in center field. The homer was Zimmer's fourth of the season and second in as many days.

Castillo was gashed for eight runs on seven hits in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss. He had surrendered seven runs in his previous six outings combined.

Reds opener Sam Hentges gave up a run on four hits in two innings.
