Luis Torrens smacked a pair of two-run home runs and Jake Fraley also hit a two-run shot to back 5 2/3 strong innings from Yusei Kikuchi and lift the visiting Seattle Mariners to a 9-3 victory against the Chicago White Sox on Friday night.

The Mariners led throughout, scoring first on Torrens' first home run of the game with one out in the second inning. Fraley connected in the sixth, and Torrens hit his second homer of the night one inning later.

Seattle out-hit Chicago 14-6 en route to its ninth win in 11 games.

The White Sox have been outscored 45-18 while losing six of seven.

Kikuchi retired 10 of the first 11 White Sox he faced, with Yasmani Grandal's solo home run in the second marking the lone early blemish against him. Yoan Moncada singled with one out in the fourth, but Kikuchi swiftly avoided further trouble, inducing Jose Abreu to hit into a double-play grounder to shortstop.

Kikuchi (5-3) allowed one run on two hits in 5 2/3 innings with four walks and six strikeouts.

White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodon endured his roughest start of June, scattering three runs and five hits in five innings with four walking and eight strikeouts. Torrens' home run was the first long ball Rodon allowed since yielding three in a May 31 start at Cleveland.

Entering Friday, Rodon (6-3) had limited opponents in June to three runs in 19 innings while striking out 25. The loss marked his first since May 26.

Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford went 2-for-6 and extended his hitting streak to 11 games. Jake Bauers and Mitch Haniger added RBI singles. Dylan Moore, Haniger, Bauers and Torrens had two hits apiece.

Chicago drew to within 8-3 on Yoan Moncada's two-run single in the eighth. The White Sox had two on and none out before Grandal grounded into a double play and Andrew Vaughn struck out.

Moncada had two hits for Chicago, which was 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position and left six men on base.
