Mike Leake pitched six innings of one-run ball for the Mariners, who have won 10 of their past 12 games to move into first place in the American League West.
Jean Segura doubled home Dee Gordon in the seventh inning to give Seattle a 5-3 lead. That snapped the Mariners' three-game streak in which their previous 14 runs had come via the long ball. They hit three homers Sunday in a 5-4 victory at Tampa Bay and three more Monday night to beat the Angels 5-3 in the series opener.
Leake (7-3) allowed four hits with three walks and four strikeouts. Over his past seven starts, he is 4-0 with a 2.63 ERA.
Angels rookie right-hander Jaime Barria (5-2), making just his eighth major league start, gave up three runs (two earned) and eight hits in five innings. He didn't walk a batter and struck out two.
Haniger hit a solo home run to right-center field in the first inning to open the scoring.
The game remained 1-0 until the fifth, when Trout took Leake deep to left-center field.
Haniger put the Mariners back out front in the bottom of the inning with a two-run shot to left-center, making it 3-1. It was Haniger's 15th homer of the season.
Healy made it 4-1 in the sixth with a solo homer to left off right-handler Cam Bedrosian.
Right-hander Ryan Cook replaced Leake in the seventh and struck out the first two batters he faced before walking Ian Kinsler to bring Trout to the plate. Trout went deep to left, his major-league-leading 23rd home run of the season, to cut the margin to 4-3.
Gordon led off the eighth with a single to left field off left-hander Jose Alvarez and advanced to second on outfielder Justin Upton's throwing error. Segura then lined a run-scoring double to right.
Healy led off the eighth with a homer, his 12th, to left off right-hander Oliver Drake.
Alex Colome pitched a scoreless eighth and fellow right-hander Edwin Diaz worked a 1-2-3 ninth, striking out Trout to end the game and post his major-league-leading 25th save of the season.
