Astros 6, Brewers 5 (10): A night after recording its first walkoff win of the season, Houston made it two in a row - and picked up its first extra-inning victory of the year - when Scott Moore's single with the bases loaded in the 10th sent Milwaukee to its 11th straight road loss.

Jose Altuve's leadoff single and a pair of walks allowed the Astros to load the bases in the 10th against Jim Henderson (0-1), setting the table for Moore's game-winning single to left. The Astros had lost their first 11 extra-inning games.

Milwaukee rallied in the ninth to tie it against Wilton Lopez as Rickie Weeks led off the inning with a double, moved to third on Jonathan Lucroy's infield single and scored on rookie Jean Segura's groundout. Lopez (5-1) rebounded to work a scoreless 10th to pick up his second win in two nights.

Steve Pearce matched a career high with three hits and had three RBIs for Houston, which has won consecutive games for the first time since June 26-27. A day after driving in the tying run and scoring the winning run in the Astros' first walk-off victory off the season, Pearce staked Houston to a 2-0 lead with a two-run single in the first. He added an RBI triple in the third and singled in his third at-bat.

Tyler Greene doubled in his first at-bat for Houston since being acquired from St. Louis earlier in the week, and came around to score on Pearce's first-inning single. Greene later added a solo homer off Livan Hernandez in the fifth for a 5-4 lead.

Brewers starter Marco Estrada lasted just four innings, allowing four runs and seven hits to remain winless this season. Estrada's streak of 14 straight starts without a win is the longest for a Milwaukee pitcher since Chris Capuano went a franchise-record 18 starts without a victory in 2007.

The Brewers loaded the bases with two outs in the seventh, but Mickey Storey struck out Carlos Gomez on a disputed third strike, which resulted in Gomez being ejected.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Astros topped four runs for the first time since July 30. … Pearce recorded the third three-hit game of his career and the first since May 25, 2011, also against Milwaukee. Pearce has a seven-game hitting streak and has hit safely in nine of 11 games since the Astros acquired him from Baltimore. … Brewers OF Norichika Aoki went 2-for-5 with a two-run double to extend his hitting streak to 12 games. … Segura recorded the first multi-hit game of his career. … The Astros announced 29-year-old Mike Elias as their new scouting director, replacing Bobby Heck, whose contract will not be renewed.
