Brewers 6, Phillies 2: Ryan Braun homered for the third time in two contests and Yovani Gallardo recorded his fourth consecutive victory after tossing seven solid innings as Milwaukee extended its home winning streak to eight games.
Nyjer Morgan ripped a two-run triple in the fourth inning when right fielder Domonic Brown misplayed the ball before crashing into the wall. The Brewers then extended their lead to 4-1 two batters later after Gallardo plated Morgan and Jean Segura with a two-out single to shallow right field.
Braun, who belted a pair of solo shots in Friday's 7-4 triumph, provided insurance with a two-run homer - his 32nd - in the sixth inning.
The offensive outburst was welcomed by Gallardo (12-8), who improved to 3-0 in his career versus Philadelphia. The 26-year-old right-hander allowed one run on four hits and struck out nine.
Vance Worley (6-8) surrendered four runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings to take the loss.
Ryan Howard had an RBI double and Kevin Frandsen added a run-scoring single for the Phillies, who suffered their third straight setback after a three-game winning streak.
