Dwyane Wade collected 32 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists as the Miami Heat pulled away in the fourth quarter Thursday en route to a 100-94 victory over the host Philadelphia 76ers and a commanding 3-0 lead in their Eastern Conference first-round series.
LeBron James added 24 points, 15 rebounds and six assists and Chris Bosh scored 19 points for the second-seeded Heat, who will be looking for a series sweep in Game 4 on Sunday. Miami has won 10 straight meetings with Philadelphia.
The 76ers led, 75-73, at the beginning of the fourth quarter but watched the Heat quickly take control with a 15-4 spurt to begin the frame. James began the burst with a 3-pointer and Bosh scored six points.
Philadelphia led by as many as 10 points in the first half but could not do much against Miami's defense in the final period, starting 2 of 11 from the field as the Heat made their move.
The 76ers crept within 98-94 when Lou Williams knocked down a 3-pointer with 44 seconds left. James missed a jumper, but Williams missed a long 3-pointers and Miami's James Jones hit a pair of free throws to seal it.
Elton Brand collected 21 points and 10 rebounds and Jrue Holiday had 20 points and eight assists for seventh-seeded Philadelphia.
