Trail Blazers 90, Suns 89: Damian Lillard converted the go-ahead layup with 6.5 seconds left and finished with 11 points and eight assists as Portland edged visiting Phoenix.

Thomas Robinson matched a career high with 15 points off the bench and Robin Lopez collected 13 points and 15 rebounds as the Trail Blazers picked up their fourth straight win. LaMarcus Aldridge added 12 points and 12 boards to help Portland control the glass 51-41.

Eric Bledsoe scored 23 points, Gerald Green had 17 off the bench and Goran Dragic added 14 for the Suns, who dropped to 1-3 on the road. Markieff Morris was held to eight points, snapping a string of three straight outings of 23 points or more.

Dragic and Green knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to put Phoenix ahead 77-69 with 8:49 left and force a timeout. The Trail Blazers came out of that break and turned the momentum around, scoring nine straight points to grab their first lead of the second half at 78-77.

It went back-and-forth until Lillard came out of a timeout and turned the corner for an easy layup and a 90-89 lead with 6.5 seconds left. Bledsoe got a good look at a layup but could not get it to fall, and tip-in attempts from Morris and P.J. Tucker would not fall, either.
