Bryan Rust scored the game-winner with 1:15 left in overtime after he had a goal disallowed 19 seconds earlier, giving the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins a 4-3 win against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night.

Sidney Crosby had a goal and an assist, Lars Eller and Jake Guentzel also scored and Magnus Hellberg made 33 saves in his first start of the season for the Penguins, who have won a season-high three in row. Pittsburgh's Erik Karlsson recorded two assists.

Carl Grundstrom, Adrian Kempe and Kevin Fiala scored and Pheonix Copley made 16 saves for the Kings, who had their four-game winning streak end but extended their point streak to eight in a row (6-0-2).

Before Rust scored the game-winner on a wraparound, he briefly celebrated with 1:34 left. However, an official review determined Pittsburgh was offsides before the goal.

Crosby scored on a wraparound to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead at 7:11 of the first period and extend his point streak to seven games.

It was also the 557th goal of Crosby's NHL career, moving him into a tie for ninth place in the NHL history for the most goals with the same team.

The Kings tied it 1-1 at 14:14 of the first when Grundstrom scored short-handed just as a Pittsburgh power play ended.

Anze Kopitar beat Karlsson to a puck that was dumped into the Penguins' zone, and he fed Grunstrom for the one-timer following a mistimed shift change by Pittsburgh.

Kopitar's assist gave him 1,155 points in his NHL career, moving him past Luc Robitaille for No. 2 on the team's all-time list. Marcel Dionne is No. 1 at 1,307.

Kempe scored short side off a rush with a wrist shot from the left circle to give Los Angeles a 2-1 lead at 9:58 of the second period.

The Penguins tied it 2-2 with 1:57 left in the second period on a short-handed goal. Eller stole the puck in the neutral zone, skated down the right side and then cut into the slot before beating Copley with a wrist shot.

Crosby fed Guentzel for a backdoor goal off a rush 37 seconds into the third period to give Pittsburgh a 3-2 lead.

Los Angeles tied it 3-3 at 6:40 when Fiala beat Crosby to a rebound and scored with a backhand after Hellberg made back-to-back saves.
