Saints 28, Eagles 13: Drew Brees tossed a pair of touchdowns and cornerback Patrick Robinson had a 99-yard interception return for a score as host New Orleans handed reeling Philadelphia its fourth straight loss.
Chris Ivory replaced an injured Darren Sproles and had a 22-yard rushing touchdown and Marques Colston and tight end Jimmy Graham reeled in TD receptions for the Saints (3-5), who won for the third time in four contests.
With the Eagles (3-5) driving late in the first quarter, Robinson altered the complexion of the game by intercepting a ball that caromed off the hands of tight end Brent Celek before racing down the sideline.
Michael Vick, who was rumored to be possibly losing his starting job last week, brought Philadelphia to within 21-10 by connecting with DeSean Jackson for a 77-yard scoring strike down the right sideline in the third quarter.
After Alex Henery's field goal brought the Eagles to within eight, Brees capped a 10-play, 70-yard drive with a 6-yard touchdown pass to Graham with 1:26 left in the third quarter.
GAME NOTEBOOK: LeSean McCoy, who finished with 119 yards, became the first member of the Eagles to rush for more than 100 yards in the first half since Brian Westbrook accomplished the feat against Detroit on Sept. 23, 2007. ... Robinson's interception tied Darren Sharper's record for the longest return in Saints history. ... Ex-Saint Steve Gleason, who is battling Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), was taken by ambulance from the Superdome to Ochsner Hospital during the game. He was resting and alert, according to his wife Michele.
