Junior guard Tai Webster and senior guard Benny Parker combined for 23 points, and Nebraska cruised to a 92-65 blowout of Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Webster scored 13 points and Parker, playing in his 100th consecutive game, scored 10. Combined, Webster and Parker had scored 20 points through Nebraska's first three games.
Freshman guard Glynn Watson scored 14 points to lead Nebraska (4-1). The Huskers had no problem overcoming foul trouble with its leading scorer, Andrew White, a junior guard who entered the game averaging 18.7 points.
White picked up two early fouls, and aside from one turnover, contributed nothing statistically until he scored with 8:55 remaining in the first half.
By that time, the Huskers led 30-7.
Nebraska shot 59.4 percent in building a 53-16 halftime lead and led by as many as 46 points in the second half.
Dimi Cook led Southeastern Louisiana (1-3)with 16 points. Mo Greenwood scored 12 points and James Currington added 11. The Lions had lost road games by 13 points at TCU and by 42 points at Texas A&M before winning at home against Mississippi College by seven points.
Nebraska (3-1) won the first of two home games as part of a multi-tournament event this week, the Barclays Classic. The Huskers host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday, then travel to Brooklyn, New York, to play Cincinnati on Friday and either Tennessee or George Washington on Saturday.
