Matthew Bryan-Amaning had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Huskies (8-3), who outrebounded Nevada 55-40. Aziz N’Diaye had 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Justin Holiday added 12 points and nine rebounds before leaving late in the game with an apparent ankle injury.

Nevada (3-9) trailed 47-27 at halftime and never threatened the Huskies. Junior forward Dario Hunt recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Deonte Burton scored 14 and Malik Story added 11 for Nevada, which shot 17 of 60 (28.3 percent) from the field.

Washington took control early and grabbed a 38-23 lead with 3:44 left in the first half when Thomas made one of his four 3-pointers. Thomas also assisted on a 3-pointer to end the half with a pass to C.J. Wilcox in the corner.

Washington, which had 18 assists against only five turnovers, played without senior guard Venoy Overton, who’s been battling a hyperextended knee and a hamstring strain.

The Huskies, who are unbeaten at home this season with an average win margin of 31 points, begin Pac-10 play on Dec. 29 at Southern Cal.
