Grizzlies 103, Clippers 93: Zach Randolph had 25 points and 11 rebounds and Marc Gasol added 21 points as visiting Memphis defeated Los Angeles for the third straight game to take a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference best-of-seven series.

Mike Conley scored 20 points and Tayshaun Prince tallied 15 as the Grizzlies continued a stunning turnaround after digging a 2-0 hole. Memphis can close out the series when its hosts Game 6 on Friday.

Chris Paul scored 35 points and Jamal Crawford added 15 for the Clippers. Blake Griffin had four points and five rebounds in 20 minutes before leaving midway through the third quarter because of a sprained right ankle suffered in Monday’s practice.

The Grizzlies kept Los Angeles at bay throughout the final quarter. Los Angeles pulled within 91-86 on a 3-pointer by Crawford with 1:49 remaining but Prince drained a big 3-pointer 20 seconds later and Gasol hit six free throws in the final 22 seconds to seal it.

Memphis led 54-48 at halftime and used an 11-0 run in the third to take a 65-52 advantage with 6:28 left in the stanza. The Grizzlies were up 73-65 heading into the final quarter before Los Angeles crawled within four with 10:52 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Randolph has averaged 25.3 points and 10.3 rebounds in the three victories after averaging 13 points and six rebounds in the two losses. … Aside from Paul, the other four Los Angeles starters had 18 points on 8-of-21 shooting. … Memphis committed just seven turnovers while forcing the Clippers into 13 miscues.
