Clippers 101, Timberwolves 95: Chris Paul had 23 points and 11 assists and Blake Griffin scored 18 points as host Los Angeles snapped a four-game losing streak.

DeAndre Jordan scored 15 points, Matt Barnes added 13 and Jamal Crawford tallied 11 as the Clippers handed Minnesota its sixth loss in seven games.

Kevin Love had 19 points and 12 rebounds and Alexey Shved added 17 points for the Timberwolves, who were just 5-of-23 shooting in the final quarter.

Minnesota led 83-80 with 7:43 left after two free throws by Dante Cunningham before making just one field goal over the next five-plus minutes. Los Angeles ripped off a 10-2 run with Paul’s jumper putting the Clippers ahead and Griffin following with consecutive baskets to give the Clippers a 90-85 edge with 3:01 remaining.

Los Angeles guard Chauncey Billups scored seven points in 19 minutes in his first action of the season in his comeback from a torn Achilles’ tendon injury suffered in February.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Caron Butler had just two points on 1-of-8 shooting one game after setting a Los Angeles franchise record with nine 3-pointers against the New Orleans Hornets. … Minnesota had a 52-35 rebounding edge and failed to reach 100 points for the 13th time in 14 games. … Clippers forward Matt Barnes drew a technical foul for the third consecutive game.
