Cam Talbot started for the second straight night and made 29 saves to help the visiting Minnesota Wild to a 3-2 win against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.
Talbot made 28 saves in a season-opening 2-1 win at Anaheim on Friday night.
Frederick Gaudreau, Victor Rask and Ryan Hartman scored for the Wild, who rallied from a 1-0 second-period deficit for the second straight night.
Anze Kopitar had a goal and an assist to give him seven points (four goals, three assists) in the first two games. Viktor Arvidsson also scored, and Jonathan Quick made 27 saves for the Kings.
Kopitar traded passes coming down the ice with Drew Doughty before scoring off the skate of Wild defenseman Matt Dumba to cut the lead to 3-2 at 7:28 of the third period.
Doughty had two assists to give him six points (one goal, five assists) in the first two games.
The Wild played a scoreless opening period for the second straight night before falling behind 1-0 at 5:23 of the second.
Dumba was in the penalty box when Kopitar took a slap shot from the top of the right circle. Talbot kicked out the save, but Arvidsson collected the rebound in the slot and went around the sprawled Talbot before scoring his first goal with Los Angeles.
The Wild tied it 1-1 at 6:17 of the second period when Gaudreau scored on a one-timer from the inside edge of the right circle off a short pass from Kevin Fiala, who earned his 200th NHL point.
Kirill Kaprizov, who had six goals and three assists in eight games against the Kings last season, made a nice pass to Rask for another one-timer that made it 2-1 at 11:55 of the second.
The Wild appeared to take a 3-1 lead at 16:29, but the Kings requested a video review for goalie interference and the goal was overturned.
Hartman scored 23 seconds later, snapping a pass from Marcus Foligno past Quick to extend the lead to 3-1.
