Drew Brees passed for 412 yards and five touchdowns as the New Orleans Saints kept rolling toward the NFC South title with their sixth straight win, a 42-20 road victory over the host Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The Saints (11-3) picked apart the Vikings' secondary as Brees completed 32 of 40 passes and threw touchdowns to four different players. Lance Moore led the way with five catches for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Four Saints had at least 70 receiving yards.

Brees has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 41 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in NFL history behind Johnny Unitas' 47. He also has at least 20 completions in an NFL-record 34 consecutive games and remains on pace to break Dan Marino's record of 5,084 passing yards set in 1984.

New Orleans didn't miss leading rusher Mark Ingram, as they managed to pile up 573 total yards - just 21 short of the franchise record. Chris Ivory led the running game with 74 yards on 18 carries.

The Vikings (2-12) managed only 200 total yards despite the return of star running back Adrian Peterson.

Peterson, who had missed the previous three games with an ankle injury, rushed for 60 yards on 10 carries.
