Rookie Sam Bradford threw a pair of touchdown passes and the St. Louis Rams' defense shut down the Carolina Panthers, forcing four turnovers in a 20-10 victory Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome.
Bradford threw for 191 yards on 25-of-32 passing, hooking up with Danny Amendola for a 2-yard touchdown toss in the second quarter and hitting Daniel Fells for a 23-yard score in the fourth.
The Rams held the Panthers (1-6) to 201 total yards and limited them to 25 rushing yards on 17 carries. Carolina was without starting running back DeAngelo Williams, who sat out with a foot injury.
Panthers quarterback Matt Moore was 23 for 37 for 194 yards with three interceptions. He connected with Steve Smith nine times for 85 yards and threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell in the fourth quarter.
Josh Brown kicked field goals of 33 and 41 yards for the Rams (4-4), who have won four straight at home since a season-opening loss to Arizona.
